PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN 2014
Hello friends. Greetings and love from Kampala, Uganda.
On behalf of the High school Leadership Initiative, we would like to let you know that we are already "frying the fish". we finally started our operations this year.
INTRODUCTION:
The H.L.D.I…also
known as the High school Leadership Development Initiative was launched early this year, though it started informally late last year (2013). This is a program
that is geared towards fostering youth leadership development in the high schools
in Uganda. It is merely a lower segment of A.Y.L F (Africa Youth Leadership
Forum) a project that targets university students all over Eastern and Sub Saharan
Africa. The High school program is meant to provide leadership mentoring to
Higschool students while A.Y.L.F caters for university student leaders.
AIMS OF THE HIGH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (H.L.D.I)
To foster reconciliation, solidarity and unity
among young Ugandan leaders across all the existing racial, tribal and
religious divides.
To promote and support a servant leadership
model for Ugandan Leaders.
To identify the principles and emulate the
Leadership qualities of Jesus of Nazareth, and those leaders who throughout
history have embodied these ideals.
To foster long term, meaningful relationships among
young emerging Ugandan leaders across ethnic and religious divides.
To highlight and emulate successful African and
world class leaders who have championed unity and reconciliation
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
Ø Provide an avenue where young leaders
will interact and share leadership challenges within their nation.
Ø To establish a network through which
young leaders will spear head reconciliation in their nations.
Ø To provide re-conciliatory mechanism
that will allow the future leadership of the region to resolve conflicts.
Ø Establish and develop principle
based, servant leadership- based on the highest African virtues such as Love,
forgiveness and unity.
Ø Provide a forum where young people
across Africa build meaningful relationships resulting in partnerships that
will further their future leadership influence.

PROGRAM:

program has been in position to get into a succesfull partnership with a bout 12
schools in Uganda sofar. The schools represent the different regions of the
country.

The above
are the 12 schools where are fully involved with in as far as implantation of
our program is concerned. We also occasionally visit other associate schools
that buy into our vision.
