hide their heartfelt appreciation to Cornerstone for its efforts to create
change agents of Uganda’s future.

a one day workshop that attracted participation of 5 schools all from Amuru and
Gulu districts respectively. The schools that participated include; St Mary’s
College Lacor, Gulu High School, Sir Samuel Baker College, Restore Leadership
Accademy and Gulu Secondary School. There was a total of 135 student leaders
and 10 teachers.
Our guest speaker was Honorable Reagan
Okumu, MP for one of the constituencies in Gulu. He also gave a talk of being visionary and persistent as one
of the approaches to overcome challenges facing youth leadership in Uganda.
Eluku Michael from Cornerstone
Development also gave a lecture on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective people. The
host school (St Mary’s College Lacor) was a very cooperative school. A part
from organization and participation, the administration was very instrumental
in seeing this event succeed.
